Fresh flowers from the market daily during the Autumn/Winter period. Tulips are the only flowers that continue to grow in water after they have been cut. Tulips will open in a few days to a week and hold their petals for approximately 7 - 10 days.

Tulips will arrive tight bud to maintain their longevity.

Tulips start to grow towards light in a vase. It is a good idea to move them so grow evenly. The more heat and sunlight Tulips receive, the quicker they open. Tulips are beautiful to watch to bloom.

Key steps for caring for your Tulips
1. Clean your vase thoroughly and remove any leaves that will fall below the water line. This will reduce the buildup of bacteria and keep your tulips fresher for longer.
2. Fill the vase one-thirds with fresh cool temperature water and flower food.
4. Trim stems, cutting about 2-3cm from the bottom.
5. Change the water and re-trim the stems every few days to maximise vase life.
6. Keep your flowers away from direct sunlight or excess heat to extend their lifespan. Tulips naturally grow towards sunlight.
7. Remove any wilted flowers promptly to prevent mould from spreading.

Note: Tulips can be top heavy, we recommend placing in a tall supportive vase. This prevents any drooping.
